Citizens of Wasco, Sherman and Hood River Counties can now dispose of their hazardous waste safely and easily. The Tri-County Hazardous Waste & Recycling Program opened its doors in July 2006. The Program provides hazardous waste disposal and recycling education & outreach to households, businesses and farmers of our Tri-County area.

An Award Winning Effort - The Tri-County Hazardous Waste & Recycling Program proudly displays the recycled award it received in 2007 for overcoming the challenges of being Oregon’s first multi-county effort to coordinate and handle hazardous and recyclable wastes while developing a system for educating citizens in the Mid-Columbia area.
