Beginning in 2009, Tri- County Hazardous Waste & Recycling Program now awards grants each year within Hood River, Wasco and Sherman Counties for recycling and solid waste prevention or reduction projects. Grant funds come from part of the fee paid to dispose of garbage and construction and demolition waste in our area.
