Goal:

We support projects which enhance the 3 “R’s” (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).

General Grants:

For solid waste-related projects that deal with recycling, reuse, waste reduction or waste prevention.

Small Grants:

The goal is to offer money to neighborhood, community and nonprofit organizations for projects or items that will help them overcome barriers to waste prevention and increase recycling while educating the community. We have currently earmarked $15,000 of total grant funds.

Where we fund:

Projects must be located within Hood River, Wasco and/or Sherman Counties.

Who we fund:

Local governments, community groups, non-profit organizations, schools, and chambers of commerce may implement grant-funded projects. Whereas, grant funding for businesses is currently under consideration.
