  • Recycling saves money. Where the cost of recycling is figured into garbage disposal fees, recycling saves you money if it allows you to reduce your garbage bill as a result of reducing your garbage volume. Here are a few examples:
  • “Mini” can service. This 20-gallon can is cheaper, and often works well for up to a family of four.
  • Twice-a-month garbage service.
  • Once-a-month garbage service.
