Simply rinse bottles/jars and discard any lids.

It is very important to keep glass out of the co-mingled recycling. Otherwise, glass causes a danger by breaking and contaminating the bails of recyclable paper that we eventually consume again in the form newspaper, paper rolls and toilet paper, etc…. (Thanks!)
